The Kambo Frog Reset Session

Your Kambo session is tailored to your specific needs, and what unfolds is a deeply personal experience between you and the frog. Embracing discomfort is an integral part of the journey toward growth and transformation, so it's natural to encounter some unease during your Kambo session.

However, this initial discomfort is often followed by a profound sense of euphoria and enhanced well-being. Some people emerge from the session feeling exceptionally energized, while others find solace in a state of peaceful relaxation. If you're apprehensive about the "challenge" aspect of Kambo, it's perfectly normal to have reservations when trying something new for the first time. Rest assured, Kambo is not a painful ordeal, and you'll come to realize that discomfort serves as a valuable catalyst for personal growth and transformation.

Our Kambo sessions are located in Austin, TX

What to Anticipate During Your Kambo Session:

The Gates

In a Kambo session, the application process focuses on creating minor blister points on the skin's surface, to which the Kambo secretion is carefully administered.

These openings are superficial, involving only the removal of the epidermis, essentially serving as entry "gates" for Kambo into the body. Typically, for an introductory Kambo session, 3-5 of these gates are opened on the skin.

Before applying the Kambo dots to these open points, clients are encouraged to drink approximately 3/4 of water. Once the secretion is applied, the immediate effects are rapid and intense, albeit short-lived, typically lasting around 20-25 minutes.

The Flush

Within the first 30 seconds to a minute, clients commonly experience a warm flush enveloping their entire body. There may be a slight increase in heart rate accompanied by a gentle throbbing sensation in the head. It's not uncommon for the lips, ears, and tongue to feel numb and tingly during this phase, sometimes accompanied by mild dizziness or light-headedness. These sensations persist for approximately 5-7 minutes, followed by 10-15 minutes of flu-like symptoms, where clients may feel weakness, muscle aches, and mild nausea.

The Purge Urge

During this period, some clients may feel the urge to purge, although it's important to note that purging is not a prerequisite to benefit from Kambo. It's simply a pharmacological effect that some individuals experience and is far less dramatic than some sensationalized portrayals seen on YouTube videos. Thanks to the pre-session water intake and fasting protocol before your session, purging is relatively smooth and discomfort-free.

The Return

Following the purge, the flu-like symptoms tend to dissipate quite rapidly, leaving clients feeling profoundly relaxed and often enveloped in a sense of euphoria. After rest, clients regain strength and energy, enabling them to resume their daily activities as usual. The benefits of a Kambo session continue to unfold in the hours, days, and sometimes even weeks following the session.

The Conclusion

To conclude the Kambo session, the entry points on the skin's surface, where Kambo was administered, are sealed with Peruvian anti-bacterial/fungal tree sap, known as "Dragon's Blood." This natural sap promotes faster healing and acts as a protective "liquid bandage" while offering effective antibacterial protection. It's important not to cover these points with bandages.

Please refrain from attempting to pick at or remove/clean off the Dragon's Blood. Ideally, avoid applying any substances to the entry points other than a saline solution or water and soap for cleansing, along with Dragon's Blood to support the healing process.

Your Kambo Marks

The entry points will heal and fade with time but depending on your skin color and type you may always have small visible scars. After Kambo treatment, once the Dragon’s Blood is dry, you can use colloidal silver, shea butter, tea tree oil or coconut oil to aid the healing process and limit scarring. Please stay away from chemical cream products like Neosporin. Most people see their Kambo scars as a badge of honor.
